Do you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus? We offer a silent weekend retreat for men based on the spiritual exercises of Saint Ignatius. Come encounter the love of Christ through prayer, Scripture, and the Sacraments, and let him renew your heart!
This retreat offers:
- A weekend of spiritual renewal
- Opportunity for confession and spiritual direction
- Practical ways to connect faith and daily life
- Directed by the Legionaries of Christ
On Sunday, March 9th, 30+ boys, dads and Legionaries, from Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, departed for a trip to visit the Sacred Heart Apostolic School in Rolling Prairie, IN.
This past January 17-19th, the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi organized a weekend retreat for young women in Huntsville, Texas. The retreat was split into two "tracks"- one for high school age girls and one for college students and up. The theme of the retreat was "Where is your heart taking you?" which encouraged all the participants to take a step back and allow their hearts to encounter the personal love of Jesus.
Throughout our lives, our Lord is with us, and provides much consolation, just as He did to the three disciples on Mt. Tabor. It is just as real, however, that, at times, He also permits suffering in our lives. Why do I have to suffer? What is the meaning of my suffering? In this short video we will explore the meaning of suffering in light of the Lenten season. I hope you enjoy it, and be sure of my continued prayers for you.
This 5-part video series, by Fr. Nathaniel Haslam, LC, Houston LCA, is designed to help us delve deeper into the meaning of Lent, with reflections on the themes of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, which will help us draw closer to our Lord. See Lent from a positive point of view!
This is a powerful theme as our Lord Jesus invites and challenges us to go deep and ask, 'Who will you serve?' We are about to begin Lent - a time of personal conversion and commitment - in which we are invited to follow Jesus more closely.
