Fr. Jorge was born in Veracruz, Mexico, and moved to Monterrey when he was a young boy.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, received a certification in Finance from Georgia Tech, also a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Theology from Atheneum
Regina Apostolorum in Rome and most recently, an Executive Master’s Degree in Non Profit Administration by the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
While in formation, he worked with young adults and the youth section in Monterrey and Leon, Mexico; then he became administrator of the seminary (CES) in Rome a couple of years before his priestly ordination in December 2014. In the summer of 2015, he was assigned to Los Angeles to work in Guadalupe Radio, and finally he arrived to Houston in 2017. Since then, he has supported the adult sections and has a formation program for married couples. He has also worked apostolically in Germany, New York, Spain and the Netherlands.
