I was born, raised, and corn-fed in Burlington, Iowa where I grew up in a Catholic family practicing the faith. My parents homeschooled my siblings and I from 4th grade on, preserving my vocation and opening my heart to God’s grace.
For college I attended Franciscan University where, as a Freshman, I met a Legionary priest through some friends on the Rugby team. Over Christmas break, I made a commitment to Christ through the lay movement associated with the Legion called Regnum Christi. During the summer of '03 I made several key experiences of my faith during a trip to Rome on an RC Formation Course and later decided to give a volunteer year as a missionary. Because of the experience I chose to test my call at the Legionary candidacy the following summer. I joined the Novitiate the fall of 2004 and finally was ordained in 2017.
I have spent all of my apostolic internship and priesthood in the Education environment by serving our Oak International Academies that host boys who come from our schools in Mexico and Latin America to study English. These two boys boarding schools are in Dublin, Ireland and Wisconsin.
Here in Houston I am happy to continue to work with youth. I am always glad to meet Dads, who would like to work together on setting up Conquest clubs, Father/Son camps and ECYD teams for Boys.
