Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi Houston
Maritza Silva, a native of Cotija Michiocan, Mexico and consecrated her life to God in 1997. She arrived to Houston in 2013 and is currently serving as director of the community of consecrated women and ECYD director for the girls. She enjoys eating Mexican food, watching the Greenbay Packers and bike riding.
Patricia Camarero was born in Mexico City and was consecrated in Regnum Christi August 15th, 1985. Patricia has studied extensively over the years and has her doctoral work centered on the doctrine of human love in the thought of Thomas Aquinas and Edith Stein. Patricia loves her family, nature, music & watercolor painting. She arrived to the Houston community in 2015 where she supports the pastoral ministry with women, spiritual direction and retreats.
Charlene Alexander is from Dayton, Ohio and has been happily consecrated since 1998. She loves to teach and facilitate Theology of the Body conferences. She also serves as a support for the women, couples, and families in the Houston area and is part of the National RC Spirituality team. She enjoys cutting hair, flower arranging, cooking and walking in nature.
Katie Tuttle is from Columbus, Ohio and was consecrated in 2003 and arrived to Houston in 2016 where she serves in young adult ministry and vocations ministry here in Houston. She enjoys eating a good breakfast, all types of sports and outdoor adventures, especially the adventure of a mission trip.
Angie Hilbun is from Baton Rouge, Lousiana. In 1999 she joined the Regnum Christi young women’s section at LSU and in the year 2000, became consecrated. She currently works with college students and young professionals in Houston and also serves as the National Formation Director for the Mission Corp Program. Angie’s preferred place to be is enjoying a relaxing community day outdoors, playing sports, as well as being with friends and family.
Monica Trevino, a native of Monterrey, Mexico was consecrated in 1993 and is now serving as a spiritual director for college students and young adults here in Houston. She recently graduated summa cumlaude from Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College where she obtained an MA in Theological Studies with a concentration in consecrated life. She enjoys walking in nature, especially seeing sunsets, reading and photography.
Fabiola Zellek was born in Mexico City. She has been consecrated for 14 years and arrived to Houston in 2013. Now she is primarily involved in youth work in the Houston area. Fabiola loves working with youth and spreading John Paul II's teachings on Theology of the Body.
Rachel Peach grew up in Hartville, Ohio. She has been serving in Houston since 2013 and made her final vows to consecrate her life to God on September 8th 2016 here in Houston. She is currently serving as part of the youth team. She loves learning new things and sharing God’s love with others.
Cristina Villaseñor was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and was consecrated in 1998. She has 21 years of experience working with adolescents in different countries: Venezuela,Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and EUA. Throughout all these years she frequently directed summer camps, volunteer programs and formation courses, and she dedicated much of her time to personal accompaniment of each adolescent on these programs.
